Told You So

I knew it. My Mom and I went to Jeff's house for Christmas, and both of us are sick. I got sick Tuesday, and she got sick yesterday. I get to take my happy ass to Aultman's Immediate Care when Morgan gets home so I can get something for yet another sinus infection. I would just go to my primary care doctor, but they're out of the office and I can't let this go any longer. I'm blowing out green boogies, and that can't be good. Yummy.

The first week of our 2 week school hiatus is over. We go back on the 9th of January, and I'm not very excited about it. We have Comp 2 in January, which will cause me to put my eye out repeatedly.

Hmmm, what else...

Christmas presents, everyone always wants to know about Christmas presents. Anyway, I got the tangerine Dooney It Bag, a blue topaz pendant, a steering wheel cover for the Birdy, a 1980 Firebird model, CD holder, the Without A Trace season 1 DVD set, a laptop cooler (it works, too,) a cute sweatshirt, two glycerin soaps, pyrex blue bakeware, pyrex clear bakeware, pyrex baking sheets, a mixer, Tutti Dolce Creme Brulee body wash and a $50 gift card (for me and Morgan from Jeff.) With the gift card I bought a coffee pot (for tea, I hate coffee,) a blender, a Mr. Clean Magic Reach thing, filters for the coffee (tea) pot, a bra (hey, I needed a new one,) and something else that I can't remember. There, doesn't everyone feel better now?

Our new upstairs neighbor is actually nice, and considerate!! How refreshing.

That's enough of an update for now.

That is all.

Catchy Title Here

Santa's back must hurt pretty badly by this point. He came early to our apartment, as evidenced by this photo.
From this photo, can you tell that's Morgan's Dad on the left? Don't they look eerily the same?
Camaros without seats look creepy.

Surprisingly I didn't have to wait in line to pick up the turkey today, nor did we have to wait in line at the grocery store. Most places didn't look that busy while we were out around 2:30 this afternoon. Weird...

Guess I'm going to bed. Happy Pine Tree Day.

I Sneeze On You

I so want one of these but since they're $295, and not covered by insurance, I guess that's out of the question. A 3D/4D ultrasound would be so nifty.

Gah, I was going to write a lot more but I'm tuckered out.

That is all.

So New-Age

Yeah, it's being done.

Must get ready for school. I was super energetic today, so I cleaned out the fridge (includes washing everything,) got caught up on all of my schoolwork and vacuumed. After school tonight, well after the first break (7PM) since that's when we always leave, we are running to Summit Racing and picking up Morgan's Dad's Christmas present. Some TPI air foil thingie. We're going to get one for the new RS too, but not tonight.

Blah.

That is all.

Quick Update

This won't be a long update since I have tons of schoolwork to complete. I did want to post a photo of my new license plate (TruckBird.)
Heehee
Pooper was taken, and I thought Poopr wouldn't be as cool. Besides, I plan on painting my car black in the spring.

Is it Thursday yet? We're finished with Comp 1 on Thursday, then we're on vacation until January 9th. The downside is our class for January is Comp 2. Bah.

That is all.

Gir

I have a horrible headache. Gah.

I got my purse today from the Morgie. I decided the Coach one wasn't me, so I returned it. I looooooove the Dooney; there's a photo in my MoBlog.

Going to Mansfield tomorrow, then to Barb and Kanan's, so I won't be online until Sunday evening sometime.

There's something wrong with TruckBird. He keeps stalling, chugging and generally running like shit some of the time. We're replacing the ECM, and hopefully that'll fix him. On the upside, he doesn't have that funky smell anymore. My Mom's car has gone retarded as well. It's making clunking noises in the engine, thumping in the front suspension and her tranny is screwed up. And it's an 01 Monte with 45K miles. Niiiiiiiiice. At least she has a warranty on her car.

That is all.

Heehee

I bring you our new toaster. The best part is I bought the toaster in the store and it was only $15! Woo!

Gah, winter storm warning for tomorrow from 6AM-3PM. The joys of Ohio in the winter.

My follow-up at Dr. Jag's was fine. I go back for another check-up on Janaury 18th.

Must eat.

That is all.

And The Baby Is...

It's a boy! There was unmistakable junk to be seen.

Grounded

Uh oh, we're in trouble. Both Morgan and I received notes in our mailboxes at school today. We have to see the head of general education because we both received a midterm in english. That could be because he's not turned in anything, and I'm missing a bunch of assignments as well. We can't bring outselves to stay the entire class, and are usually gone by the second break (8PM.) The teacher gave us both lists of assignments we need to hand in, and told me I'll have an A as long as the rest of my work is the same as my first paper. I told her I'm not worried about the papers, since I scored a perfect on the english portion of the ACT, and english has always been an easy subject for me. She laughed and said I would be fine then, since even she didn't get a perfect on the english portion.

I'm sleeping on the floor in the living room tonight. It can't be any worse than the bed, as far as my back goes.

Blah, I think I'll have some more grape Kool-Aid.

That is all.

Not So Productive

What have I done today? Other than sleep, not very much. I was in bed listening to Morgan snore (not actually sleeping) until 2:30 this afternoon. Then I got out of bed, sent my Secret Santa person their gift from Amazon, ate and came back to bed at 4:30PM. I just got up about 5 minutes ago. I rule.

Really there's not shit going on.

That is all.

Gah

Morgan and I went to Warren, OH today (close to Sharon, PA) to pick up a shifter we won on eBay. We also wound up getting the lower air dam for the Camaro. For $10!! Woooo! The downside is I have the damned air dam (heehee) in my dining room.
Don't Believe Me?

I made dinner, ate dinner and now I'm ready for a nap.

That is all.

By The Way

We have a new TV stand. Yes, I was watching a Smits episode of NYPD Blue when I took the photo. DVR is my best friend.

People Suck

This is going to be a post full of bitching, yay!!!

First of all, what's up with people not replying to email? I understand if they're busy, but this was an email in support of another person, disclosing personal issues in an effort to encourage this other person. Did I receive any reply whatsoever? Nope. Maybe there are reasons why this person only has superficial happiness, and will probably never have what he/she truly desires in life. That's as far as I'm going to take that rant.

Secondly, I was coming out of school last night and, as usual, the smokers were crowded right in the middle of the walkway. Well, I'm getting bigger and I had a bookbag bump as well. I excused myself, I always do, and these bitches didn't budge and inch. I proceeded to walk through them, and bumped one cunt with my bookbag. She proceeds to get snippy with an "excuse you." Oh, fuck no. Mouth was engaged prior to brain when I shot back with "Bitch, I did excuse myself. Learn to listen." The mouthy broad had nothing to say in reply. That's what I thought, cunt.

Starbuck's Mint Hot Chocolate is like crack. Good crack, but crack nonetheless.

Someone in this apartment building is smoking skunk ass in the hallways. The entire building smells like skunk, and it isn't fun. Then there is the older woman upstairs (part of the shitty neighbors duo) who goes to the front door, opens it, then sticks just her hand outside while she puffs away. Yeah, like it doesn't come right back in the building. That's what I want to smell, and walk through, when I leave/enter the building.
The parking lot wasn't plowed at all yet again. The landlord is creepy, and useless as well. He's also fucking sneaky. I scared the fuck out of him the last time he was here for "maintenance" issues (to change the furnace filter.) He didn't think anyone was home, and I was standing right behind the door when he walked in. The look on his face rocked ass. One of his little cronies was poking around in another tenant's car last week. Like, actually got in this person's car and was poking around. Additionally, Morgan and I are the only people in our building who don't have a criminal record, haven't went bankrupt, haven't lost our house to foreclosure, don't have judgement liens and/or haven't been evicted. I know what you're thinking...Morgan and I live in the ghetto. Where we live is very nice, and an upscale neighborhood (the street behind ours is full of $250K and up houses.) Our apartment is nice, if it weren't for our shitty upstairs neighbors, and the new windows that were obviously not installed properly (we have lovely drafts whenever the wind blows.) We have all of the amenities, with the exception of a washer/dryer in the our apartment. We have central air, a dishwasher, new carpet, nice appliances, etc. It's the management that sucks donkey balls. I've complained about the upstairs neighbors at least 3 times, then I saw it did no good so I stopped complaining. The girl on the 3rd floor (diagonal from the shitty upstairs neighbors) called the cops on them 2 weeks ago. I guess they were screaming at each other from 1AM-2AM. Remember, the woman is 55 and the guy is at least 60. They are waaaaaaaay old enough to behave themselves. With that many problems with them, why are they still living here? It's obviously not just me being a cunt about them being noisy as fuck; other tenants have problems with them too. I can't wait until August when Morgan and I can move. I found the perfect apartments, and they're cheap when all of the extras are taken into consideration. Not to mention the building is fucking awesome. Hopefully one will be open in June, July or August.

What else can I bitch about??? Oh, my car smells funny. Ever since I had the exhaust replaced a couple weeks ago, I've noticed a funky smell coming from TruckBird. I know sometimes when an exhaust is replaced there will be a weird smell if anything has to burn off of the muffler or whatever. But this is a very weird smell, that I can't describe. If it continues into Monday I'll take TruckBird to the doctor and see what's going on.

Speaking of doctors, I have my ultrasound on Tuesday at 7:15PM, then a follow-up with the gyno on Wednesday afternoon. I also have an appointment Wednesday morning with my primary care doctor to get back on my thyroid pill, Synthroid. I guess it's really important for me to be on that while pregnant. I'm kind of worried because I've only gained 5 pounds so far, and when I take into consideration the 10 pounds I lost the first 2.5 months cause I was so sick, I still have a net loss of 5 pounds. The ultrasound I had showed a lot of activity, and the three times I've heard the heartbeat it was normal. I think I feel the little turd moving around, too, but I'm not sure yet. It's not gas, and it's always in the same place when I'm either laying down, or if I've been sitting for a while. I'll feel better after Tuesday when I have a new ultrasound done at my "real" doctor's office.

All right, I believe I'm finished.

One Year

It's been a year today...I can't believe it's been that long all ready.

Dimebag Memorial Page

That is all.

Mmmm, All Right

OK, then. I guess I'll attempt a "real" update for all you whiners out there...

First of all, we've added another goldfish to our bed. My goldfish is still the pimp, even though Morgan's is bright and new.

I've inquired about adopting George, the awesome guinea pig. I hope I can wind up adopting him.

I missed the last two days of class (Monday and Tuesday) due to general feelings of ickiness. I can't miss anymore days this month, so I have to at least make it in there to sign the attendance sheet. Tomorrow we have a quiz, and our first paper is due, yay. Composition 1 is evil.

Nothing new is going on at the apartment. We finally received the garage key so the new RS is all snug in the garage, while TruckBird and Blackie are out in the elements. TruckBird revolted the first couple cold days (Thanksgiving Day) by telling me to go fuck myself. How did he do that? His new (3 months old) alternator died. I returned it and got a new one; TruckBird is fine now. He didn't leave me stranded, though, so that's good. His new exhaust is nice, and I'll get an ECM in the next week or so. It would be nice if I had heat from the vents and not just the defrost setting. It takes forever for the car to get warm through the defrost setting, but we can't figure out why I don't have vent heat. Obviously it's a vacuum leak somewhere, but damned if we can find it.

9 goddamn degrees outside, and now we have a winter storm watch from Thursday night into Friday morning. How fabulous.

I need to mail more Christmas cards.

This post is going nowhere fast; there you have an update.

That is all.

Just in case anyone hadn't noticed, I changed the blog template.

Christmas Presents

It seems as though I've received an early Christmas present of heartburn and poopy stomach. Is that an overshare?

In other news, Morgan blessed me with two Christmas presents:
In TANGERINE (it's soooooo cute)
He also got me the Coach Slim Hobo in blue from the Fall 2005 Limited Collection, style FS 4430. Once I'm allowed to open the presents I'll get photos of both bags. Yay me!

Now I get to try and figure out where I made a $14 error in my checkbook; I hate not knowing how much money I really have. Grrrrrr.

That is all.

UPDATE-I found a photo of the Dooney bag!

Creepy Bastards

All of a sudden, I'm surrounded by creepy men. The landlord is creepy, there was a creepy man at the laundromat last night and there's a creepy guy on eBay who won't stop emailing me. Gah, creepy men suck.

It's snowing again. Snow can eat it big time.

I really don't have much to say, I guess.
